Kenso
is a Japanese band formed in 1974, while its members were studying in high school. I read that in reality, due to their busy, not much to leave tour, however, are well known even outside Japan.
In fact, from what I could find, are a kind of cult band, with very little material available, at least here in the West, but throughout his career (which continues today) have released about 17 albums (some live).
(The track No. 3, Furiorosareta Yaiba )
The found in Kenso style is more jazz fusion, although avowedly progressive dyes, especially recalling the great Italian progressive bands. However, what most strikes me is the Japanese character of the music clearly. That is, apart from the obvious (the letters in Japanese), using money, harmonies characteristic of Japanese music. And all this without closing to experimentation, as Kagome .
Definitely, a recommended album, and otherwise hard to get (when it was first released, only 400 copies made), and in a few parts I found even mentioned the group. Enjoy. Musicians
