Hawkwind is currently one of the pioneering bands in what is today known as Space Rock, the band was formed in 1969 with subjects who were already experienced music that was played at the time, blues, jazz, psychedelic rock with air.
However, the group's main idea was to focus on creating a more experimental sound psychedelic in nature, probably driven ideas hippie era and the common use of drugs such as LCD. The band began to work slowly and gradually became known to this day still remained active as a band after more than 20 recordings.
I found it interesting to show in this blog the last and most recent work out just this June 2010 called "Blood Of The Earth "to get an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat this band could deliver after all this time, breaks, reunions, albums released, projects like the" Hawkestra. "
Although its members have undergone numerous changes, Dave Brock is the main column that keeps the essence of the band since 1969. Something like what would Robert Fripp of King Crimson.
